Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Leicester’s Danny Drinkwater, Everton playmaker Ross Barkley and Swansea striker Fernando Llorente are on the wanted list, according to the Telegraph.
Negotiations are set to continue this week for Drinkwater, with the two clubs yet to agree a transfer fee.
A £25m has been lodged but the Foxes are holding out for around £40m.
Juventus star Sandro has been a target all summer while Oxlade-Chamberlain has snubbed a contract extension at Arsenal.
Barkley has also rejected fresh terms at Everton while Llorente is wanted as back-up to Alvaro Morata.
Meanwhile, Antonio Conte has made a fresh plea to the Chelsea board to provide him with more players.
The Italian has been frustrated by the club’s limited business in this window but says they are working hard to land signings.
“There are four days to go, no, in the transfer market,” Conte told the press after yesterday’s 2-0 win against Everton.
“I think the club is working very hard to try to improve our squad. Don’t forget when we start, next month, in September we have to play seven games.
“I need to rotate my players because it’s very difficult to play seven games in a month with some players. I think the club is working very hard to strengthen the squad. They know very well our situation.”
Finally, Loic Remy could seal an exit from Stamford Bridge before the window slams shut.
The 30-year-old is on the fringes of the first team and is wanted by Las Palmas and Cagliari, according to the Daily Mail.
He spent time on loan at Crystal Palace last term but only played eight times.
Remy has not featured for Chelsea this season.
